What electrical services do you offer?

We handle residential, commercial, industrial and solar electrical work — everything from new builds and renovations to service upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, troubleshooting, and full solar system installs.

How big is your team?

Goldstream Electric is led by Murray Marshall, who personally completes all smaller residential and service projects. For larger builds, solar installs, and multi-stage commercial work, Murray is a signatory contractor of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and through this brings in a trusted network of qualified electricians to create the right-sized team for the job.

How do I request a quote?

You can reach out through our website contact form, call, or email. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

How soon will I hear back after sending an inquiry?

We aim to reply within 48 hours, and often sooner.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — we provide complimentary quotes for most residential and small commercial projects. Larger projects may require a site visit.

Do you offer emergency electrical services?

For urgent issues, we do our best to respond quickly. While we aren’t a 24/7 emergency service, Murray will take on emergency calls when available and can often provide same-day support for safety-related electrical problems.

What areas do you serve?

We operate throughout the Columbia Valley and Revelstoke region, and will travel all over BC and Yukon for some jobs! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are outside of the Revelstoke area.

Can you install or upgrade electrical panels?

Absolutely. We upgrade service panels, replace aging panels, and add sub-panels for renovations, additions, or outdoor buildings.

Do you install EV chargers?

Yes. We install Level 2 EV chargers for homes, businesses, and multi-unit properties.

What should I expect during a service visit?

We arrive on time, assess the issue, explain the work required, and provide transparent pricing before starting any repairs or upgrades.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes! All required permits and Technical Safety BC inspections are included in the job scope.

What is your pricing like?

Our pricing is based on the time the job takes and the materials needed, since every project is a little different. We’ll give you an estimate upfront so you know what to expect.

If a project ends up taking less time than expected, you’ll pay less. And if anything comes up that could increase the cost, we’ll always check in with you first before moving forward, no surprise bills.
